




Fight Society mixes the gameplay of souls-like games with the progression of Hades. The player completes encounters, earns rewards, and then picks the reward for the next encounter like in Hades. Encounters require engaging with the souls-like combat system, which means paying attention to the enemies’ movements and attacks while also managing your stamina and knowing the strengths and limitations of your own attacks. The roguelite nature of the progression creates a loop of progressing as far as you can into the dungeons until you are defeated and reset to the hub world and then using the knowledge you gained in your earlier experiences in the dungeons as well as rare permanent upgrades to get further into the dungeons until you are finally able to reach the finish. Dungeon encounters feature a diverse range of enemies, including melee and ranged attackers, enemies that summon other enemies, and boss fights.
I started Fight Society in 2025 with two other developers. The game is still a work in progress and the demo is planned to be finished by Summer 2026.
